Testimonials

“I have been taking lessons with Angela Walchuk since I was 7. Being a smaller player, my ability to be a strong skater, thanks to Angela, helped me to succeed at an early age. She has helped me to play at a highly competitive level of hockey and further develop myself as a hockey player. She is always coming to me with new drills to challenge my footwork and make me a faster skater. Skating is the most important physical aspect of hockey, and I was fortunate to spend 10 years learning from her. That experience has helped me to reach my goals as it enabled me to be selected for the Madison Capitols U18 AAA Hockey Team, which plays in the Tier I Elite Hockey League, the top 25 teams in the United States. I cannot thank Angela enough and would recommend her power skating lessons to everyone that is just starting to play hockey all the way up to AAA hockey players. As one of my coaches said, ‘There is no such thing as too good of a skater.’”

-Anthony Golio, Madison Capitols U18 AAA

“Angela is a professional. Her skating lessons are intense workouts carefully designed to help our son continuously improve. She's an excellent coach and motivator, and it is without question that our son's skills are at the level they are because of Angela's classes. Some hockey coaches teach position, some teach playmaking, but few spend time on individual skating skills. Twenty minutes with Angela will do more for skating ability than a week of travel hockey, and a summer with her will do more than a full season on the ice.”

– Father of Midget travel and High School Player

“Angela has transformed my son from a below average skater to one whose strength is his skating. She has a great knack with kids and can push them beyond their comfort zone to new levels. I highly recommend her to players of all levels.”

– Father of PeeWee travel player

“My son started skating with Angela 5 years ago. In that time he has developed strong skating skills as well as learned the importance of being on time, being prepared and putting forth a strong effort. Angela starts with the basics and builds to more advanced technique as a skater develops so he is always challenged. She is an amazing instructor.”
